At JGB Active Daycare we are the only nursery and preschool currently in the U.K that offers the JGB Active Education Program.

The JGB Active Education Program is a unique learning and sports program, carefully designed and developed by an experienced Early Years Practitioner and Sports Coach to provide children with an exciting, active, and engaging approach to learning.

Each month, children explore a new theme through a carefully selected storybook, which forms the foundation for their learning. The literacy content, topics, and experiences within each book are brought to life through a wide range of active learning opportunities, helping children to make meaningful connections and deepen their understanding of the world around them.

Through our program, children develop across all areas of learning. These areas are seamlessly embedded within every activity, creating a holistic and purposeful learning experience.

At JGB Active Daycare, children thrive through the program because it not only builds self-esteem, confidence, and resilience but also helps them make sense of what they are learning through practical, hands-on experiences. By linking learning to movement and play, children become engaged, motivated, and eager to explore new ideas.

Children develop their physical abilities at an exceptional rate while participating in a variety of sports and activities, including football, gymnastics, tennis, basketball, athletics, dance, and a wide range of team games. Through these activities, children learn important life skills such as cooperation, communication, problem-solving, perseverance, and teamwork.

The learning does not stop during our active sessions. The themes, skills, and knowledge explored through the JGB Active Education Program are carried into the nursery rooms, where they are further developed through creative activities, role play, investigations, discussions, and child-led experiences.

The JGB Active Education Program truly supports children's development in a holistic way, nurturing their physical, social, emotional, and cognitive growth while inspiring a lifelong love of learning, movement, and achievement.

Our goal is to give every child the best start in life by supporting their holistic development through active, engaging learning.

To guide and inspire them, we’ve developed a bespoke award schemes, where children work towards their Super Skills awards. Their efforts are celebrated with certificates and medals, recognising achievement and building confidence every step of the way.
