Funded Hours

We offer 15 or 30 hours per week of government-funded childcare for eligible children aged 9 months to 4 years.

JGB Active Education Program

At JGB, we are proud to offer something truly unique . We are the only nursery in the UK delivering early years education through our innovative JGB Active Education program.

Our children don’t just sit and learn — they move, explore, and thrive. Through a dynamic blend of sports, dance, and active movement, we bring learning to life, supporting development across all 7 areas of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).

Each month, children engage in a new topic and theme, which we creatively embed into their physical activities. From gymnastics to football, tennis to athletics, basketball to volleyball, every session is designed to develop:

• Physical strength and coordination
• Teamwork and social skills
• Language, vocabulary, Literacy
• Early math and science understanding
• Understanding the world
• Confidence and self-expression
• Our approach is based on solid research and hands-on experience and the results speak for themselves. Children who take part in the JGB Active Education program build strong, healthy bodies, expand their vocabulary, grow their cognitive skills, and gain a lifelong love of movement and learning.

At JGB, we don’t just teach — we move minds and bodies forward.

Our goal is to give every child the best start in life by supporting their holistic development through active, engaging learning.

To guide and inspire them, we’ve developed a bespoke Awards Scheme, where children work towards their Super Skills awards. Their efforts are celebrated with certificates and medals, recognising achievement and building confidence every step of the way.

At JGB Active Daycare, we follow the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) to support and guide every child’s learning and development across all seven areas of learning.

We observe, assess, and record each child’s achievements using Baby’s Days, our secure online portal. This platform allows parents and carers to stay fully involved in their child’s journey with us. Through your personal Baby’s Days account, you can:

• View observations and progress reports
• See photos and videos of your child’s learning and play
• Track routines such as bottle feeds, naps, and nappy changes
• Communicate directly with our team
• All parents/carers are given login details upon registration.
